Awarded a B.A. in English Literature from Swarthmore College and a MFA in creative writing from San Francisco State College, David Cohen received his acupuncture certification from the California Acupuncture College in 1985. Specializing in internal medicine, especially problems of aging and inflammatory and immune-compromised diseases, he has been in private practice since 1986. David has taught Principles and Theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Yo San University since the school first opened in 1989.
