                     Dr. Hulsey graduated first in her class at Yo San University     and for three years served as the University’s Assistant Academic Dean. She continued her studies in Chengdu, China, and now practices Traditional Chinese Medicine at East Nashville Community Acupuncture, the largest Chinese medical practice in Tennessee.

In the Chinese Acupuncture Points course, the student is first introduced to the meridian system of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The various pathways and key points of the body's twelve main meridians and eight extraordinary meridians are taught along with a brief discussion of the channel pathology of each meridian. Students learn the nomenclature and classification of the meridian system, internal and external pathways, and the basic anatomical body measurements as well as anatomical landmarks used to locate points. Students learn about what channels are, the main channel categories and their functions as well as extraordinary meridians, the body's seas of yin and yang energy. Helpful explanatory illustrations are included in the classroom notes.
